The Caston Comets baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Northfield Norsemen to 10 in the Comets non-league win on Monday.

The Comets now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Culver Community for a Hoosier North test on Thursday, April 24. Caston will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Elkhart Christian Academy (Elkhart, IN). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-5.

With the defeat, Northfield drops to 2-7 on the year. The Norsemen travel to Wabash (Wabash, IN) to clash with the Apaches in a Three Rivers test on Wednesday, April 23. The Apaches go into the test with a record of 5-5. Wabash won 9-3 in their recent non-league test against Elwood (Elwood, IN)
