Caston Comets (Fulton, IN) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Lewis Cass Kings (Walton, IN), 5-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Caston advances its record to 12-4 on the season. The Comets travel to Winamac (Winamac, IN) to battle the Warriors in a Hoosier North match on Saturday, May 3. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 10-4. Winamac won 8-7 in their recent league match against North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN)

The Kings now have a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Logansport for a non-league match on Friday, May 2. Lewis Cass will battle a Berries squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN). The Berries record now stands at 9-6.
