In Monday's non-league game, the host Yorktown Tigers baseball team scored a nice 12-1 win over the Muncie Central Bearcats.

The Tigers (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN). The Cougars go into the Hoosier Heritage game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Greenfield-Central was overwhelmed by Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN), 5-4, in a non-league game.

Next, the Bearcats play the Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN) in a North Central game, on Tuesday, April 22. Muncie Central will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Wildkats go into the game with a 2-4 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Frankfort (Frankfort, IN).
