In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Gretna East Griffins baseball team scored a close 8-5 victory over the Millard West Wildcats.

The Griffins (14-3) will now prepare for their game against Creighton Prep (Omaha, NE). The Junior Jays enter the non-league game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Creighton Prep got by Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE), 12-4, in a non-league contest.
