Florida High School Softball - FAMU DRS succumbs to Rickards

April 21, 2025: Tallahassee, FL 32307

In Monday's non-league test, the Rickards Raiders (Tallahassee, FL) softball squad overwhelmed the host FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers (Tallahassee, FL), by a tally of 18-3.

Next, the Raiders clash with the Taylor County Bulldogs (Perry, FL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 22. Rickards will attempt to advance on its 9-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 3-17 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Trenton (Trenton, FL).

The Baby Rattlers (2-14) will now prepare for their test against St. John Paul II (Tallahassee, FL). The Panthers go into the 1A District 1 test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, St. John Paul II was routed by Madison County (Madison, FL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
