In Friday's league game, the host Nazareth Area Blue Eagles baseball team scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Bethlehem Catholic Hawks.

The Blue Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA). The Cardinals go into the Eastern Penn - Mountain game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Pocono Mountain East tipped East Stroudsburg North (Dingmans Ferry, PA), 15-0, in a league game.
