The New Boston Lions baseball team (New Boston, TX), was overwhelmed 9-5 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Redwater Dragons (Redwater, TX)

The Dragons now hold a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hooks for a 3A Region II District 14 outing on Tuesday, April 26. Redwater will confront a Hornets team coming off a 15-6 league win over Pewitt (Omaha, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 17-7.

Next, the Lions confront the Atlanta Rabbits (Atlanta, TX) in a 3A Region II District 14 outing, on Tuesday, April 26. New Boston will attempt to advance on its 5-12 season record. The Rabbits go into the outing with a 3-6 record after their 10-9 league loss to Redwater (Redwater, TX).
