April 22, 2022: New Kent, VA 23124 New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting King William Cavaliers (King William, VA), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans confront the Smithfield Packers (Smithfield, VA) in a Bay Rivers challenge, on Monday, April 25. New Kent will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Packers enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 1-1 non-league Menchville (Newport News, VA).
The Cavaliers now possess a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Mathews for a Tidewater challenge on Monday, April 25. King William will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Northumberland (Heathsville, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-5.
