Illinois High School Softball - Washington bounces Brimfield
April 22, 2022: Brimfield, IL 61517 Washington Panthers (Washington, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kaneland for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 23. Washington will face a Knights squad coming off a 11-10 non-league loss to West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Knights record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Brimfield falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Indians host West Aurora (Aurora, IL) to face the Blackhawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 23. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a record of 6-8. West Aurora lost 6-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington (Washington, IL)
