South Carolina High School Softball - Woodruff tipped by Broome
April 22, 2022: Spartanburg, SC 29307 The Broome Centurions softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Woodruff Wolverines to 5 in the Centurions league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Broome improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Centurions travel to Chapman (Inman, SC) to clash with the Panthers in a AAA Region 3 game on Tuesday, April 26. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 14-7. Chapman lost 11-0 in their recent league battle against Union County (Union, SC)
The Wolverines now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Chesnee for a non-league battle on Monday, April 25. Woodruff will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Landrum (Landrum, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 8-5.
