South Carolina High School Softball - Woodruff topped by Union County
April 15, 2022: Union, SC 29379 The Union County Yellowjackets softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Woodruff Wolverines to 1 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Union County moves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Broome (Spartanburg, SC) to play the Centurions in a AAA Region 3 game on Tuesday, April 19. The Centurions come into the game with a record of 4-2. Broome won 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Chesnee (Chesnee, SC)
In their next game, the Wolverines play the Emerald Vikings (Greenwood, SC) in a AAA Region 3 game, on Tuesday, April 19. Woodruff will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 1-8 record after their 22-0 league loss to Chapman (Inman, SC).
