South Carolina High School Softball - Emerald Woodruff
April 19, 2022: Greenwood, SC 29646 The Woodruff Wolverines softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Emerald Vikings to 2 in the Wolverines league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Woodruff improves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Broome (Spartanburg, SC) to clash with the Centurions in a AAA Region 3 game on Friday, April 22. The Centurions come into the game with a record of 5-2. Broome won 3-2 in their recent league game against Union County (Union, SC)
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 21. Emerald will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 14-4 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC).
