Maryland High School Softball - Great Mills loses to Huntingtown
April 22, 2022: Huntingtown, MD 20639 The Huntingtown Hurricanes softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Great Mills Hornets to 1 in the Hurricanes league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Huntingtown improves its record to 8-4 on the year. The Hurricanes host Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Southern Maryland game on Monday, April 25. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 10-1.
In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 23. Great Mills will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 7-6 record after their 4-0 league loss to North Point (Waldorf, MD).
