Maryland High School Softball - Huntingtown can't get by Chopticon
April 4, 2022: Morganza, MD 20660 The Chopticon Braves softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Huntingtown Hurricanes to 8 in the Braves non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Chopticon moves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Braves host Northern (Owings, MD) to clash with the Patriots in a Southern Maryland game on Wednesday, April 6. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 4-1. Northern won 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Mount de Sales Academy (Catonsville, MD)
In their next game, the Hurricanes clash with the Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 6. Huntingtown will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Cavaliers come into the game with a 6-0 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD).
