Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD), 9-0 in a league challenge.

The Braves now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Charles for a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, March 25. Chopticon will face a squad coming off a 20-2 non-league loss to Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The record now stands at 0-1.
