Maryland High School Softball - Chopticon bounces Patuxent
April 20, 2022: Lusby, MD 20657 Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD), 12-0 in a league challenge.
The Braves now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Northern for a Southern Maryland challenge on Thursday, April 21. Chopticon will face a Patriots squad coming off a 23-0 league win over Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Patuxent falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to North Point (Waldorf, MD) to face the Eagles in a Southern Maryland challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. North Point won 12-1 in their recent league challenge against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD)
