April 22, 2023: Huntley, IL 60142 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL) and the visiting Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL), saw Huntley's volleyball squad beat Larkin by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Huntley upgrades its record to 9-7 on the year. The Red Raiders travel to Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Monday, April 24. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Hoffman Estates won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Fenton (Bensenville, IL)
The Royals now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they travel to South Elgin for a Upstate 8 bout on Tuesday, April 25. Larkin will play a Storm squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Storm record now stands at 13-2.
