Virginia High School Softball - West Potomac bounces Fairfax
April 22, 2023: Alexandria, VA 22307 The West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) softball routed the visiting Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA), 12-2 in Saturday's league bout.
The Wolverines (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Lions go into the Patriot bout with a 4-10 record. In their last bout, Fairfax toppled Falls Church (Falls Church, VA), 7-6, in a non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Falls Church for a non-league bout on Monday, April 24. Fairfax will confront a Jaguars squad coming off a 11-4 league win over Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-5.
