April 22, 2024: Suffolk, VA 23434 King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Denbigh Patriots (Newport News, VA), 9-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, King's Fork upgrades its record to 3-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA) to battle the Grizzlies in a Southeastern test on Tuesday, April 23. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 6-2. Grassfield won 5-4 in their recent league test against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA)
With the defeat, Denbigh falls to 7-5 on the season. The Patriots host Warwick (Newport News, VA) to battle the Raiders in a Peninsula test on Tuesday, April 23. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 4-7. Warwick won 33-4 in their recent league test against Heritage (Newport News, VA)
