North Carolina High School Baseball - Union loses to Pender
April 22, 2024: Burgaw, NC 28425 The Pender Patriots baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Union Spartans to 1 in the Patriots non-league victory on Monday.
The Patriots (6-11) will now prepare for their match against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC). The Vikings go into the Waccamaw 1A/2A match with a 6-11 record. In their last match, West Columbus was overwhelmed by East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC), 4-3, in a league match.
The Spartans (0-12) will now prepare for their match against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Wildcats go into the Carolina 1A match with a 10-8 record. In their last match, Hobbton was overwhelmed by East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC), 8-3, in a non-league match.
