The West Central Trojans the host Caston Comets softball squad by a final score of 6-4 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Trojans (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Calumet Christian (Griffith, IN). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Calumet Christian held off Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL), 15-2, in a non-league battle.

The Comets now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Maconaquah for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 23. Caston will meet a Braves squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Whitko (South Whitley, IN). The Braves record now stands at 3-6.
