The Chelsea Hornets softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Helena Huskies to 7 in the Hornets non-league win on Monday.

The Hornets now sport a 18-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookwood for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 23. Chelsea will confront a Panthers team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Northside (Northport, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 15-16.

With the loss, Helena moves to 34-6 on the season. The Huskies travel to Thompson (Alabaster, AL) to confront the Warriors in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 23. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 38-5. Thompson won 10-0 in their recent non-league battle against Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL)
