Maryland High School Baseball - Archbishop Curley edges Loyola Blakefield
April 22, 2025: Towson, MD 21204 The Archbishop Curley Friars baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Loyola Blakefield Dons to 2 in the Friars league win on Tuesday.
The Friars now hold a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they host Our Lady of Good Counsel for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. Archbishop Curley will play a Falcons team coming off a 7-0 league win over Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Falcons record now stands at 14-7.
With the defeat, Loyola Blakefield drops to 3-15 on the year. The Dons travel to Boys Latin (Baltimore, MD) to play the Lakers in a non-league test on Friday, April 25. The Lakers go into the test with a record of 13-5. Boys Latin won 7-6 in their recent non-league test against St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD)
