The East Providence Townies baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Cranston East Thunderbolts to 3 in the Townies league win on Tuesday.

The Townies now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln for a Division 1 test on Thursday, April 24. East Providence will play a Lions team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI). The Lions record now stands at 1-7.

With the defeat, Cranston East drops to 1-7 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI) to play the Clippers in a Division 1 test on Thursday, April 24. The Clippers go into the test with a record of 6-2. Cumberland won 8-3 in their recent league test against Cranston West (Cranston, RI)
