The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) and the visiting East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI), saw Cumberland's baseball team get by East Providence by a tally of 6-5.

The Clippers (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Huskies enter the Division 1 battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, Mt. Hope was tipped by Barrington (Barrington, RI), 8-6, in a league battle.

Next, the Townies face the Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI) in a Division 1 battle, on Wednesday, April 30. East Providence will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 5-7 record after their 4-1 league loss to La Salle Academy (Providence, RI).
