The Oscar Smith Tigers baseball squad (Chesapeake, VA), was overwhelmed 12-2 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA)

With the triumph, Hickory moves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Hawks travel to Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA) to confront the Dolphins in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 23. The Dolphins come into the contest with a record of 13-7. Cape Henry Collegiate won 7-4 in their recent league contest against Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA)

The Tigers now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deep Creek for a Southeastern contest on Thursday, April 24. Oscar Smith will confront a Hornets squad coming off a 14-10 league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-11.
