April 22, 2025: Palatine, IL 60074 Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Fremd Vikings (Palatine, IL), 2-1 in a league test.
With the win, Palatine improves its record to 6-10 on the season. The Pirates host South Elgin (South Elgin, IL) to face the Storm in a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. The Storm go into the test with a record of 16-7. South Elgin lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Fremd (Palatine, IL)
The Vikings now own a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Elgin for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 23. Fremd will battle a Storm team coming off a 2-0 league win over Bartlett (Bartlett, IL). The Storm record now stands at 16-6.
