April 22, 2025: Holden, MA 01520 The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Doherty Memorial Highlanders to 1 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mountaineers now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Bernard's Central Catholic for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 29.
With the loss, Doherty Memorial falls to 0-3 on the year. The Highlanders host Leominster (Leominster, MA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 24. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Leominster lost 7-1 in their recent league challenge against Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA)
