New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Westfield sneaks past Ridgewood
April 22, 2025: Ridgewood, NJ 07450 Fans at Tuesday's non-league test between the Westfield Blue Devils (Westfield, NJ) and the host Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ), witnessed Westfield's lacrosse squad hold off Ridgewood by a count of 9-8.
The Blue Devils (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Delbarton (Morristown, NJ). The Green Wave enter the Fitch-Pitt test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Delbarton nipped Mountain Lakes (Mountain Lakes, NJ), 12-5, in a non-league test.
Next, the Maroons battle the Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ) in a Gibbs test, on Wednesday, April 23. Ridgewood will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Highlanders enter the test with a 6-4 record after their 15-3 non-league win over Tenafly (Tenafly, NJ).
