Virginia High School Soccer - Matoaca knocks off Thomas Dale
April 22, 2025: Chester, VA 23831 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA) and the host Thomas Dale Knights (Chester, VA), saw Matoaca's soccer squad triumph over Thomas Dale by a count of 6-1.
The Warriors (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Prince George (Prince George, VA). The Royals enter the Central battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Prince George tipped Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA), 4-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Knights battle the Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA) in a Central contest, on Thursday, April 24. Thomas Dale will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record. The Blue Devils enter the contest with a 5-2 record after their 5-0 league win over Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA).
