South Carolina High School Soccer - Woodruff knocks off Mountain View Prep
April 22, 2025: Spartanburg, SC 29365 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC) and the host Mountain View Prep Stars (Spartanburg, SC), saw Woodruff's soccer squad triumph over Mountain View Prep by a count of 7-0.
The Wolverines (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Chapman (Inman, SC). The Panthers enter the AAA Region 3 battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, Chapman tipped Union County (Union, SC), 5-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Stars battle the Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) in a AAA Region 3 battle, on Friday, April 25. Mountain View Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Centurions enter the battle with a 1-10 record after their 8-0 league loss to Greer Middle College (Taylors, SC).
