April 22, 2025: Escanaba, MI 49829 Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Negaunee Miners (Negaunee, MI), 6-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Escanaba upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Eskymos travel to Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, May 3. The Knights enter the game with a record of 6-2.
The Miners now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Kingsford for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 23. Negaunee will play a Flivvers squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Calumet (Calumet, MI). The Flivvers record now stands at 4-0.
