McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA), 8-7 in a league match.

With the triumph, McDowell advances its record to 6-4 on the season. The Trojans host Harbor Creek (Harborcreek, PA) to battle the Huskies in a match on Thursday, April 23. The Huskies come into the match with a record of 6-3. Harbor Creek won 5-1 in their recent league match against Erie (Erie, PA)

The Ramblers now have a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meadville for a match on Saturday, April 25. Cathedral Prep will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Warren (Warren, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-7.
