In Wednesday's league bout, the Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Clinton Central Bulldogs (Michigantown, IN), by a tally of 24-2.

Next up, the Comets encounter the Rossville Hornets (Rossville, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland bout, on Thursday, April 23. Eastern will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 6-3 record after their 13-3 league win over Clinton Central (Michigantown, IN).

The Bulldogs (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Delphi Community (Delphi, IN). The Oracles enter the Hoosier Heartland bout with a 9-3 record.
