The Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN) baseball got by the visiting Delphi Community Oracles (Delphi, IN), 4-3 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Comets now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they host Manchester for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 7. Eastern will clash with a Squires team coming off a 12-2 league loss to Northwestern (Kokomo, IN). The Squires record now stands at 7-6.

With the defeat, Delphi Community drops to 15-4 on the year. The Oracles host Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN) to clash with the Trojans in a Hoosier Heartland challenge on Thursday, May 7. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Tri-Central won 12-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Wes-Del (Gaston, IN)
