The Hempfield Black Knights triumphed over the host Cedar Crest Falcons softball squad by a count of 15-4 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Black Knights meet the Red Lion Lions (Red Lion, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 23. Hempfield will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record.

The Falcons (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Warwick (Lititz, PA). The Warriors enter the Lancaster-Lebanon Section 1 challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Warwick was routed by Wilson (West Lawn, PA), 11-1, in a non-league challenge.
