In Wednesday's league match, the host Hillcrest Knights softball team scored a tight 12-7 victory over the Skyline Grizzlies.

The Knights (13-8) will now prepare for their match against Blackfoot (Blackfoot, ID). The Broncos go into the 5A High Country match with a 13-7 record. In their last match, Blackfoot tipped Idaho Falls (Idaho Falls, ID), 18-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Shelley Russets (Shelley, ID) in a 5A High Country match, on Tuesday, April 28. Skyline will attempt to better on its 12-8 season record.
