The PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays (Petersburg, IL) baseball trounced the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL), 15-5 in Saturday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bluejays play the Illini Central Cougars (Mason City, IL) in a Sangamo contest, on Tuesday, April 26. PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 1-10 record after their 20-0 non-league loss to Midwest Central (Manito, IL).
