Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT), 8-6 in a league battle.

The Wreckers now have a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Iona Prep for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 26. Staples will clash with a Gaels squad coming off a 12-4 league win over Kellenberg Memorial (Uniondale, NY). The Gaels record now stands at 7-2.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Ludlowe Falcons (Fairfield, CT) in a Fairfield County battle, on Saturday, April 23. Wilton will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 6-1 record after their 17-4 league win over Trumbull (Trumbull, CT).
