New York High School Softball - Port Jervis bounces Beacon
April 23, 2022: Port Jervis, NY 12771 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Port Jervis Raiders (Port Jervis, NY) and the visiting Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY), witnessed Port Jervis's softball squad prevail over Beacon by a count of 15-7.
The Raiders now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Newburgh Free Academy for a non-league match on Monday, April 25. Port Jervis will face a Goldbacks squad coming off a 12-1 league loss to Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY). The Goldbacks record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Beacon moves to 0-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY) to face the Warriors in a Section 1 II - E match on Monday, April 25. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 0-4. Our Lady of Lourdes lost 13-1 in their recent league match against Hendrick Hudson (Montrose, NY)
