Illinois High School Softball - West Carroll thwarted by Eastland
April 23, 2022: Lanark, IL 61046 The West Carroll Thunder softball team (Savanna, IL), was routed 10-0 in Saturday's non-league test with the host Eastland Cougars (Lanark, IL)
The Cougars (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Warren/Stockton (Warren, IL). The Warhawks come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Warren/Stockton gained a win over West Carroll (Savanna, IL), 12-2, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Thunder play the River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats (Hanover, IL) in a NUIC West contest, on Monday, April 25. West Carroll will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 1-7 record after their 8-3 league loss to East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL).
