Illinois High School Softball - Rock Island bounces Galesburg
April 23, 2022: Galesburg, IL 61401 The Rock Island Rocks (Rock Island, IL) softball routed the host Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL), 7-0 in Saturday's league bout.
The Rocks (11-3) will now prepare for their bout against Moline (Moline, IL). The Maroons go into the Western Big 6 bout with a 6-10 record. In their last bout, Moline held off Geneseo (Geneseo, IL), 1-0, in a non-league bout.
The Silver Streaks now possess a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Sterling for a Western Big 6 bout on Saturday, April 23. Galesburg will confront a Golden Warriors squad coming off a 17-8 league loss to Moline (Moline, IL). The Golden Warriors record now stands at 4-3.
