New Jersey High School Softball - Emerson can't get by Rutherford
April 23, 2024: Rutherford, NJ 07070 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Rutherford Bulldogs (Rutherford, NJ) softball team held off the visiting Emerson Cavaliers (Emerson, NJ), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, Rutherford moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ) to play the Golden Bears in a NJIC - National contest on Wednesday, April 24. The Golden Bears come into the contest with a record of 2-9. Lyndhurst lost 12-2 in their recent non-league contest against Lodi (Lodi, NJ)
In their next game, the Cavaliers play the Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 29. Emerson will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record.
