New York High School Softball - Holy Cross loses to St. John's Prep
April 23, 2024: Astoria, NY 11105 The St. John's Prep Red Storm softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Holy Cross Knights to 4 in the Red Storm non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, St. John's Prep improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Red Storm travel to Christ the King (Middle Village, NY) to clash with the Royals in a Catholic Brooklyn/Queens II game on Friday, May 3. The Royals come into the game with a record of 1-0.
In their next game, the Knights clash with the Monsignor Scanlan Crusaders (Bronx, NY) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 24. Holy Cross will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY).
