April 23, 2025: Newcastle, OK 73065 The Newcastle Racers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Douglass Trojans to 0 in the Racers non-league win on Wednesday.
The Racers now own a 27-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Community Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, April 24. Newcastle will clash with a Royals team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Henryetta (Henryetta, OK). The Royals record now stands at 18-7.
With the defeat, Douglass drops to 0-22 on the year. The Trojans travel to Grant (Oklahoma City, OK) to clash with the Generals in a non-league test on Friday, April 25. The Generals go into the test with a record of 2-13.
