New York High School Baseball - Lincoln defeats New Dorp
April 23, 2025: Brooklyn, NY 11235 The Lincoln Railsplitters baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting New Dorp Central Cougars to 4 in the Railsplitters non-league win on Wednesday.
The Railsplitters now hold a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Brooklyn Technical for a non-league test on Monday, April 28. Lincoln will play a Engineers team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Curtis (Staten Island, NY). The Engineers record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, New Dorp drops to 6-3 on the year. The Central cougars host Grand Street Campus (Brooklyn, NY) to play the Wolves in a non-league test on Friday, April 25. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 5-2. Grand Street Campus won 21-2 in their recent league test against Van Arsdale (Brooklyn, NY)
