The Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA) baseball trounced the visiting Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA), 13-4 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Bears now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Orange County for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 25. Riverbend will clash with a Fighting Hornets team coming off a 6-5 league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 4-6.

With the defeat, Massaponax drops to 1-13 on the year. The Panthers travel to Mountain View (Stafford, VA) to clash with the Wildcats in a Commonwealth challenge on Friday, April 25.
