With the triumph, Halifax County moves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Comets host Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league contest on Monday, April 28. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 13-1. Tunstall won 9-0 in their recent non-league contest against Mecklenburg County (Baskerville, VA)

The Eagles now possess a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bassett for a non-league contest on Monday, April 28. George Washington will confront a Bengals squad coming off a 19-2 non-league loss to Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Bengals record now stands at 2-7.
