North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Cornerstone Charter sneaks past West Stokes
April 23, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27409 Fans at Wednesday's league test between the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC), witnessed Cornerstone Charter's lacrosse squad hold off West Stokes by a count of 1-0.
The Cardinals (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Wildcats enter the Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Eastern Guilford was nipped by Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC), 7-0, in a non-league test.
Next, the Wildcats battle the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 28. West Stokes will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Pioneers enter the test with a 4-12 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC).
