The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA) and the visiting Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA), observed Berwick's softball team get by Hanover Area by a tally of 11-6.

The Bulldogs (6-4) will now prepare for their bout against Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA). The Royals go into the Wyoming Valley 2 bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Holy Redeemer was routed by Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA), 9-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Hawkeyes battle the Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 4 bout, on Thursday, April 24. Hanover Area will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Elk Lake (Dimock, PA).
